Processing Information

This collection was donated to the University of Maryland Libraries by Rene Rondou on February 10, 1989. A folder-level preliminary inventory of these materials existed on paper.

In 2023, Rosemarie Fettig verified the shelf locations and migrated the legacy inventory into the existing collection resource record. This work included manually extracting OCR-generated text from the scanned PDF of the legacy inventory into the ArchivesSpace bulk import spreadsheet and applying necessary reformatting of the metadata in order to create folder-level records within the collection resource record. The materials are incorporated into the collection resource record under the series title “Administrative and Local Union Records.”
