House of Representatives, 1966-1975

This series consists of thirteen subseries with files related to Lawrence Joseph Hogan’s activities as Representative for Maryland’s 5th District in the House of Representatives (1969-1975). The subseries include: Administrative Files, Executive Branch Files, Federal Executive Departments, Independent Agencies, Judicial Branch Files, Legislative Files, Maryland Politics and Events, National Politics and Events, Media Activities, Subject Files, and Miscellaneous.

Materials include articles, correspondence, brochures, memorandums, newspaper clippings, office memos, schedules, reports, speeches, testimonies, petitions, memorabilia, photographs, and audiovisual materials.

There is one record box of files that are restricted due to personally identifiable information (PII). They are to be restricted for 75 years. The earliest date of a restricted folder is 1969 and the most recent date is 1973. The 1969 folders can be unrestricted in 2044 and the 1974 folders in 2049. Folders that were initially listed as restricted by the previous processor were unrestricted by the Curator. Please check the series and folder listings for additional information.
