Book Research and Drafts, 1972; 2003-2011
This subseries contains files related to Hogan’s research and writing of his nonfiction and fiction stories, some of which were never published. Drafts of unpublished fiction stories include “The Red Umbrella” - a love story that deals with the challenges of Alzheimer’s Disease, “The Wellfleet Project,” and “Murder on the Auto Train,” also titled “Enemies of My Enemy.” In addition, there is a draft of unpublished poetry.
Materials include correspondence, handwritten notes, articles and newspaper clippings, and a DVD.
