This series contains materials related to various Filipino American organizations around the Washington, D.C. area including the Miss Teenage Philippines Pageant, Inc., the Philippines Arts, Letters and Media Council (PALM), the Philippine Nurses Association of Metropolitan DC, Inc., Philippines on the Potomac: Filipino-American Stories in Washington, D.C. (PODPDC), and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary (Vicente Lim and General MacArthur Post 5471).

Immediate Source of Acquisition
Mateirals in subseries 1, 3, and 5 were donated to the University of Maryland Libraries by Rita M. Cacas between 2022 and 2023. Subseries 2 materials were donated by Rosalinda Yangas on May 6, 2017. Subseries 3 materials were archived starting in 2015.
Processing Information
This subseries has been minimally processed. The processor placed materials in acid-free folders and in a new archival box.
