The stage, also known as the Maiden, below the steps of the main building at the Tsurugaoka Hachimangū shrine. Description provided by photographer Roy Simonson reads: "One of the buildings of the Shinto shrine to Hachiman at Kamakura. This sits before the main building and at a lower elevation along the way in from the main gate."
