Description provided by photographer Roy Simonson reads: "The two-motored transport plane (C-47 or DC-3) in which the 1500-mile tour of Honshu was made today by the group of 11 men, all but me from the Agriculture Division, Natural Resources Section, General Headquarters, Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers. The plane is on the ground at the Nagoya airport."
