Description provided by photographer Roy Simonson reads: "Profile of Regosol from calcareous clays (Shimajiri marl) in exposure along side road about 2 miles north-northwest of Yonabaru. This profile grades into the slightly weathered rock, is under grass, and allows slips readily. A tiling spade to show scale has 16" blade."
