Description provided by photographer Roy Simonson reads: "Beach beside the seawall in front of the quonset hut in Shioya, Okinawa, to show the native canoes, the island of Miyagi in the mouth of Shana Wan, and some of the children playing. Gil Corwin, one of the party, is out with the boys on the beach."
