Description provided by photographer Roy Simonson reads: "Another view of the beach shown in H9 with a canoe in the foreground to show details of the dugout construction. The near canoe has been broken and patched with tarred seams. Other canoes, a corner of the concrete sea wall, and the mountain slopes across Shana Wan form the background."
