Description provided by photographer Roy Simonson reads: "The 'rationed-food store' or bai-ten which issued supplies to Okinawans provided by the USA in the village of Nakajin, also called Nakoshi and Nakawoshi, in northern Motobu peninsula. This is frame construction with terracotta roof."
