Description provided by photographer Roy Simonson reads: "Partially forested ravine running up toward the Kaloo Range, crests of which are shrouded in clouds; east of town of Wahiawa, Oahu. Forest in left foreground is eucalyptus, introduced from Australia but now gone wild; bright green patches are staghorn fern; and whitish-green areas are kukui nut, member of tung family."
