Description

NFCB marathon: WEUL, produced by WEUL, is aprogram aired during the National Federation of Community Broadcasters' nationwide radio marathon, an event in which noncommercial alternative radio stations across the United States stop regular programming to ask listeners to pledge funds to alternative and community stations. In this specific program from WEUL in Memphis, Tennessee, radio announcers ask listeners a series of standard questions provided by the marathon's organizers regarding an upcoming presidential election. The second half of the program features excerpts of blues music and interviews from previous broadcasts, circa 1976.
