Description

Prisoner's union, produced by Elizabeth Gips, is a program about the prisoner's union of San Francisco, an organization of people working together to create change in the penal system. Through interviews, organizers of the union discuss conditions in prisons, paying prisoners for their work, the goals of the union and how they may be accomplished, and opposition faced by the union, July 1976.
