Description
Nikki Giovanni on education, produced by WFRG, is a recorded speech by poet Nikki Giovanni from a conference at the Atlanta Reading Center. Giovanni speaks about the importance of literacy and teaching, respect for the mind and thought, the difficulties faced by black children in schools, and theissue that most studies regarding black education are conducted by white researchers.
