The United States Women's Lacrosse Association (USWLA) was formed in the early part of the twentieth century to provide opportunities for girls and women to participate in the sport of lacrosse. The collection consists of awards, publications, correspondence, memoranda, constitutions, photographs, and memorabilia. The files document the operations of the USWLA, rules development, and camps, clinics, and tournaments run by the organization, among other topics. The USWLA archives are unprocessed, but preliminary inventories to several accessions are available as external documents.
