This collection documents Leonard Weinberg's career as a Baltimore lawyer working on labor cases. It consists of two scrapbooks of newspaper clippings and some correspondence documenting labor issues such as strikes, union disputes, and accidents involving companies. Newspaper clippings include references to the Baltimore clothing company L. Greif & Brother, Inc., National Recovery Administration, Friedman-Marks Clothing Company, and the Railway Audit and Inspection Company, as well as other labor cases.
This collection is open to the public and must be used in the Special Collections Reading Room. Researchers must register and agree to copyright and privacy laws before using this collection.
This scrapbook includes newspaper clippings of cases Leonard Weinberg was involved in, and telegrams and correspondence from other attorneys. The newspaper clippings relate to the L. Greif & Brother, Inc. 2(b) N.R.A. case and 7(a) N.R.A. case, other N.R.A. cases, and International Recovery Association of Clothing Manufacturers cases.

Labor cases detailed in this scrapbook include Friedman-Marks Clothing Company National Labor Act case, Senate La Follette Labor Committee, Railway Audit and Inspection Company, Philips Packing Company and L. Greif & Bro. clothing manufacturers strike, Kaylon Inc. Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America strike, Baltimore Fireworks and Specialty Company Firework ban, Baltimore Paper Box Company, and other labor disputes in which Weinberg was involved.
