This collection was donated to the University of Maryland in November 2023. At that time, all items were inventoried and individually enclosed into clear plastic sleeves. The items were then grouped by comic series, and placed into acid-free boxes. During processing labels were created for each item and placed on the corner outside on the sleeve; for non-enclosed items labels were affixed to inserted flags.
