Immediate Source of Acquisition

This collection was donated to the University of Maryland Libraries by Darrell Teegarden on July 18, 2023. Digital materials received on USB flash drive.

Processing Information

This collection has been minimally processed. The collection came to the Libraries in no particular order. In the spring of 2024, Jasper Nash conducted the preliminary inventory of the physical materials and loosely arranged the materials by format in acid-free folders. Photographs and negatives were separated and placed into sleeves.

This collection arrived with a USB flash drive containing born-digital files including photographs and audio recordings. The USB flash drive was separated from the rest of the collection and an inventory of its contents was conducted by Amy Wickner.

Among the born-digital materials were nine audio recordings for an oral history. A separate inventory of the oral history files was created by Kana Jenkins.

There may be some duplication between the physical and digital photographs.
