Francis "Frank" Mastropietro (1927-2009) graduated from the University of Maryland in 1951 following service in the U.S. Army. This collection contains material related to athletics, specifically football, at the university between 1949 and 1952. Included are copies of the magazines Sport Life, Collier's, and Stanley Woodward's Football featuring Maryland football players Jack Scarbath and Bob Ward. A preliminary inventory is available and can be found in the "Additional Description" section of this finding aid.
