Collection: Edwin Powell photographs

Edwin Powell, Class of 1913, was instrumental in the establishment of lacrosse at the Maryland Agricultural College. This collection of 1911-1913 images of the campus, buildings, and events includes a cadet company review, rifle practice, a baseball game and a football game. Of special note are photographs taken during the 1912 fire on Maryland's campus and afterwards of the ruins. A preliminary inventory is available and can be found in the "Additional Description" section of this finding aid.
