The College of Arts and Humanities is one of thirteen colleges and schools on campus. "In 25 departments and centers, the College of Arts and Humanities provides education, research and scholarship in the arts, history, literatures, languages and cultures of people throughout the world." This collection contains documentation of the Maryland Center for Performing Arts building project (now known as the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center) and activities to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the founding of the university. The collection is unprocessed but preliminary inventories are available.
