Philip Geraci, a 1952 University of Maryland alumnus, taught news photography courses in the College of Journalism. This collection consists primarily of pictures taken by students and submitted for course work in the 1960s and 1970s. They document a wide range of on- and off-campus activities and scenes. Of particular interest are images of sporting events, student protests, campus buildings and scenes, and Commencement. A preliminary inventory for these materials is available in the "Additional Description" section of this finding aid.
