Administrative History

Formed in 1920, the Committee on Catalogue, Student Enrollment and Entrance succeeded the Committee on Catalogue, Student Enrollment and College Entrance. This committee, comprised of various deans and professors, determined the format of the catalogue, school calendar, status of incoming students, and standards of admission. Percy White Zimmerman, Dean of the School of Agriculture, served as chair from 1920 to 1923. In 1924, W. S. Small, Dean of the College of Education became the new chair, a position he held until May 1930.

W. M. Hillegeist continued serving as secretary, a position held on the previous committee, during 1921. Then, from 1922 to 1930, Assistant Registrar Alma H. Preinkert filled that position.

The committee on Catalogue, Student Enrollment and Entrance existed until May 1930, when it was renamed the Committee on Catalogue, Registration, and Entrance.
