Administrative History
In May 1930, the former Committee on Catalogue, Student Enrollment and Entrance became the Committee on Catalogue, Registration, and Entrance. Like its predecessor groups, this committee of deans and professors focused its attention on issues concerning admission, the school calendar, the status of incoming students, and the format and preparation of the annual catalog. W. B. Kemp, Professor of Genetics and Engineering, chaired the committee, while Alma H. Preinkert, Assistant Registrar, served as secretary.
In the fall of 1935, the committee split into three groups. Dr. Kemp chaired a committee on Curricula, former member Professor H. F. Cotterman led a committee on Entrance, and former member Dean C. O. Appleman headed a committee on Educational Standards.
