Curtis Lyle: Black poet, part 1 is an interview with K. Curtis Lyle, a writer and resident in the black studies department of Washington University. Lyle talks about the role and the struggle of the artist, reads some of his poems, and discusses the poem and the participation of black students in the university, February 1972.
