Translations, 1951-1970 and undated
This series is comprised of translations of taped recordings of Maltese music, as well as transcriptions of poetry and personal conversations. In some cases, translations and transcriptions are copied both in Maltese and English. Translations are contained in two formats, both in manila mailing envelopes, which include information regarding the sender, as well as a subject listing of contents, and also in bound and numbered volumes. Bound volumes are labeled 1 though 7, and 15 and 16, with 8 through 14 not included in the collection. Translations in mailing envelopes are organized in original order, and bound volumes are organized numerically. Also included in this series are Recording sheets for Maltese folk music recordings. Tapes referenced by these translations do not appear to be included in the collection.
