This sub-subseries includes photographs taken by Ward during family vacations. Major events include a trip to Czechoslovakia and Italy in 1968 and a return trip to Italy in 1978-1979. Items within this sub-subseries are arranged chronologically.

Sub-subseries VI.2.3: War-Related, 1942-1944 and undated (.75 linear feet)

This sub-subseries includes photos taken by Ward during his World War II service. Included are a series of negatives from 1942-1945. Also notable are several photographs taken during Ward’s time as a translator in an Italian and German POW camp in England.
