Subject Files, 1927-1990, and Undated

The subject files generally retain the same names that Chasins gave them. There are multiple copies of the material in the "Chasins" files (there are five of them). The same material may be in more than one file. The "John Sweeney" file contains information regarding a music publishing and sales enterprise that Chasins, Keene and Sweeney tried to establish. There are letters concerning publishing rights and legal matters, closely related to the materials in the "Copyright" and "Contract" files. All files in this series are arranged alphabetically, and are contained in boxes 14 through 17.
