Comedian Harmonists, ca.1930s-2002
This series consists of materials related to the Comedian Harmonists, a popular male vocal ensemble who performed throughout Europe in the mid-to-late 1930s. Three members of the group were Jewish and forced to emigrate from Germany. Included is an autographed placard of the original Comedian Harmonists, newspaper articles about the Comedian Harmonists from 1998, and programs and photographs related to a tribute group named the King Singers.
