Scrapbooks, 1908-ca.1938
This series consists of autograph and photograph scrapbooks created by Sigel in the 1930s and one scrapbook created by her father, Albert Bartfeld, in the early 1900s. Sigel's scrapbooks included two books with autographs, photos, clippings and visiting cards of actors; a book devoted entirely to the American singer and actor, Nelson Eddy; and two books of wallet-sized film star photographs, including a large assortment of Shirley Temple and Lillian... Harvey photos as well as numerous photos of various other film stars from Europe and the United States. Albert Bartfeld's scrapbook contains newspaper and magazine clippings of celebrities from the early 1900s and clippings of sketches of the Ronacher Theater dated 1908.
