This sub-series contains documents related to curriculum development for music classes in American schools, especially materials created by KMTI faculty during the institution’s early years. Included are lesson plans, reports on materials used, methodology, and other documents used to support KMTI and KCA’s pedagogy. Files are arranged chronologically.

Files regarding some KCA faculty and students in series 5 are restricted due to sensitive personal information; see the subseries descriptions for more detail. A few other files detailing personnel action are held in a restricted box until 2040. All other records are open for research use.
