Although the box was labeled "Childhood Memories" the contents of the box include material from the bookends of Simon's life, as indicated by the folder titles. There are photographs, school assignments, correspondence, and ephemera from Simon's childhood and early career as well as clippings, correspondence and other materials from the last two decades of his life. Some of this material is duplicated elsewhere in the collection.
