Arizona and retirement, 1940-1967

The bulk of this material is correspondence dating from Simon's retirement in Tempe, Arizona. During that time he taught at Arizona State University, and continued to participate in the band community throughout the United States as a clinician and guest conductor. Some folders with materials from earlier eras found their way into this box, and in an effort to indicate original order, they have been left in this series.
