Clippings and scrapbooks, 1923-1975

Starting early in his career, Frank Simon retained many press clippings about his performances and the organizations he played in and directed. Some were kept loose and others glued into scrapbooks. Most materials in this series date from his time with the ARMCO Band and his years after retirement from the Cincinnati Conservatory. The scrapbook from 1930-1931 contains substantial coverage surrounding the first annual meeting of the American Bandmasters Association.
