Oral histories, 1985-2006

 Record Group

Record Group 4 contains recordings and transcripts of oral histories. Interviewees and interviewers are all MLA members, both living and deceased. Formats include compact discs, cassette tapes, paper transcripts of interviews, and release documents related to the interviews. The MLA Oral History Committee oversees national level projects and interview methodology, and also provides guidance for MLA chapter oral history projects.
