Records of Oliver Strunk, 1931-1937
This sub-series contains documents of 2nd MLA President Oliver Strunk dating before and during his term in office. Correspondence relates to scheduling MLA meetings and correspondents include MLA Secretary Barbara Duncan and Program Committee Chairman George S. Dickinson. Documents also include Strunk’s annotated program draft from George S. Dickinson for MLA’s joint meeting with the American Library Association on 22 June 1937 at Columbia University. Additional correspondence from Strunk’s term as MLA President may be found throughout Record Group I. Additional correspondence may be found in Record Group VI (Notes), Series 1, Sub-Series 1.2.
