Records of H. Dorothy Tilly, 1946 -1948
This sub-group contains the presidential correspondence files of H. Dorothy Tilly, 6th President of MLA. Records include miscellaneous documents transferred from the Library of Congress and a 1983 donation from the Detroit Public Library. A document of note from the Library of Congress accession is an annotated typescript of Tilley’s report to the American Library Association as MLA President.
