This sub-group contains personal files of third MLA Vice-President Richard S. Angell that document his MLA activities during and after his term in office. Records contain clippings related to librarianship, correspondence, copies of MLA meeting reports written by Angell for other organizations, MLA meeting agendas, copies of meeting announcements sent by MLA Secretary-Treasurers, records of voting measures, completed voting ballots, programs documenting special activities at MLA meetings, printed MLA and Notes publicity materials, and personal copies of minutes from MLA Executive Board meetings. Some records also relate to Angell’s activities as a liaison to the American Library Association (ALA), a member of various MLA committees, and a member of the MLA New York Chapter.
