The collection is open for research use. The online finding aid is in the process of a major update, with newly reprocessed record groups publishing when they are ready. Materials from this collection must be used in the Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library's Irving and Margery Morgan Lowens Special Collections Room during SCPA’s operating hours. General
According to the MENC/NAfME by-laws, the Executive Committee consisted of the MENC President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, and five other members selected by the Board of Directors. The Executive Committee was renamed to the National Executive Board ca. 1968.
The duties of the Executive Committee/Board inlcude: managing the operation of MENC/NAfME; planning the biennial national conference; provide an audit of organization finances; appoint an editor for organization publications; and supervise the publication of conference proceedings, committee reports, and other official organization publications.
