This record group (II) of the National Association for Music Education (NAfME) Historical Center contains materials and related collections of NAfME (formerly Music Supervisors' National Conference and Music Educators National Conference) from 1845-2010. These bodies, each their own series within this record group, include executive officers and departments: Presidents, Executive Directors, Director of Development, the Department of Communications, grants and foundations, and the Department of Finance and Administration. More information on each body and their records are present in each body's respective series notes.

The collection is open for research use. The online finding aid is in the process of a major update, with newly reprocessed record groups publishing when they are ready. Materials from this collection must be used in the Michelle Smith Performing Arts Library's Irving and Margery Morgan Lowens Special Collections Room during SCPA’s operating hours.
