Organizational files, 1941-1985
This series contains files from Rose Marie Grentzer's organizational affiliations. Materials reflect her activity with Sigma Alpha Iota, for which she led the American Music Awards from its inception in 1948 to 1968; the Music Educators National Conference; the Conferencia International de Educacion Musical; UNESCO, for which she held leadership positions in the music section; the Summer Opera Theatre Company of Washington, D.C.; and the International Society for Music Education. The subseries contain meeting agendas, notes, administrative files, brochures, articles, papers, speeches, correspondence, and meeting minutes.
