Sheet Music, bulk: 1930s-1990s and undated, 1901-1999 and undated

This series contains nearly 7,000 pieces of sheet music of popular songs, as well as some sheet music books, all published during the 20th century. The bulk of the music in this series was published during the 1930s-1990s. This series is organized chronologically based on year of publication. Additionally, each year from 1970-1989 is further organized alphabetically based on song title. For instance, all songs from 1970 are organized A-Z and the alphabetization starts over for 1971 and so on. All titles that fall between 1900-1940s and during the 1990s are alphabetized based on song title, not separated by individual year. Box 28 of this series contains oversized sheet music and songbooks published between 1900-1940s. Items in this box are not alphabetized, but rather were kept in the original order in which they were received.
