This subseries contains correspondence between well-known musical personalities and Sherman, his relatives, or WQXR. Some noteworthy correspondents include Pete Seeger, Leopold Stokowski, Aaron Copland, Henry Cowell, and Nadia Boulanger. Sherman mounted several manuscripts, and these are preserved in their original order. The remaining materials are arranged alphabetically by correspondent’s last name.
