Libretti, 1709-1965 and undated

This series contains originals and facsimiles of libretti from Handel's operas, oratorios, and other large vocal works. Many of the facsimiles are copies of originals located in a major collection such as the Library of Congress, the British Library, or the Folger Library. Items in this series are listed with publication dates as given by Coopersmith and include materials in English, German, and Italian. This series is separated into two subseries.
