Recordings, 1956-1960

This series contains three recordings of groups conducted by Colonel Howard, in addition to seventy-three 6x12 V discs, now part of B-363-436 of the ABA record Collection. One recording, 45 rpm, is a selection of pieces performed by the Air Force Band on their Tour to the Far East, 1956-1957. The second recording, dated 1960, 331/3 rpm, includes the National Dance of Afghanistan, “Milli Attan,” arranged and conducted by Colonel Howard (ensemble unknown). One undated recording is also included.
