This subseries contains materials (programs, correspondence, clippings, writings) related to the national and international tours Howard and the USAF Band took while Howard was Director. Materials relating to the tours of Great Britain (1945), Europe (1951, 1953, 1954), Iceland (1953), the Far East (1956, 1957), South and Central America (1959) are included. Correspondence and further materials related to the attempted sabotage of the 1954 USAF Band European tour are also included. Materials are arranged chronologically.
