Harold T. Brasch was born in San Pedro, California on October 7, 1916. At age 14, Brasch started musical training on the trumpet. After a year, his bandmaster advised him to switch to Euphonium and, as a high school student, soloed with college bands in Southern California. In 1938, Brasch joined the United States Navy Band in Washington D.C. As a member of the Navy Band, Brasch performed as a soloist on tours throughout the United States, Canada, and on radio broadcasts. After 18 years in the band, Brasch retired in 1956. During his retirement, Brasch continued to travel as a clinician, soloist, and teacher. He died on November 1, 1984.
This collection is organized into seven series.
