Scope and Contents

The Mega Metal trading cards collection contains eighty-eight trading cards published in 1991 by Impel. It also contains two holographic cards with the band logos of, respectively, Bon Jovi and Skid Row.

Historical note

Printed in 1991 by Impel, the complete Mega Metal trading card set contains 150 cards. Impel is a trading card company that also produced other sets of non-sports trading cards, including a Star Trek set, and one for World Championship Wrestling league (WCW). Impel became SkyNet, which was then purchased by Marvel in 1995. Marvel merged it with a sports trading card company, Fleer, and sold Fleer to Alex and Robert Grass in 1999. Shortly after, in 2005, it went defunct.
