The Nina Deutsch Collection contains audiovisual materials, papers, and photographs relating to the life and career of pianist, author, and educator Nina Deutsch. Deutsch was a successful concert pianist and a noted specialist on the music of Ives. She was the first woman to record the entirety of Ives' pianistic output. Deutsch also wrote and acted in one-woman theatricals based on the lives of various composers, such as Clara Schumann. She had a wide and intensely varied repertoire, taking the stage name "Nina Diamond" to perform popular music works. For additional information, expand the menus below.
