The Harriet Mogge collection consists primarily of music education publications, such as price lists, catalogs, and various published, educations pamphlets, workbooks, and textbooks. Also included are two awards given to Mogge from the National Association of Exposition Managers and the Marquis Who’s Who in American Education Publications Board.

The Harriet Mogge collection contains materials dating between 1941 and 1995 with the bulk of the materials falling between 1955 and 1974. The collections consist primarily of music education publications, such as price lists, catalogs, and various published, educations pamphlets, workbooks, and textbooks. Also included are two awards given to Harriet Mogge from the National Association of Exposition Managers and the Marquis Who’s Who in American Education Publications Board. Materials published by the Summy-Birchard Company make up much of the collection.
Harriet M. Mogge (1928-2016), a music educator, was a member of the National Association for Music Educators (previously known as the Music Educators National Conference), and served as its Director of Meetings and Conventions through 1993. As a music educator, Mogge assisted music publishing company Summy-Birchard get Suzuki materials into the hands of teachers in North and South America, and served as its educational director, arranging all company exhibits. In 1973, Mogge assisted with the founding of the Suzuki Association of the Americas, and served as its first executive secretary and editor of its newspaper, the American Suzuki Journal. In 1996, she received the Distinguished Service Award from the International Association of Expositions and Events, formerly known as the National Association of Exposition Managers, of which she served as President in 1990.
